We first met in 2019 when Julian was 24 and Cluny was 25, with our first interactions happening on the dance floor at the prohibition-style underground bar, Palmer & Co, in Sydney. It was the beginning of something special.

A year later, Julian took Cluny on a kayaking date on Sydney Harbour one Sunday morning. It was a perfect outing that marked the start of many adventures together (and very ironic given the fact that Cluny later disclosed her contempt for Kayakers givens she was a rower!)

A couple of months after that, we officially started dating, all while the world was being turned upside down by the Covid pandemic. Despite the uncertainty, we made the most of the situation. We’d drive across the border to Cluny’s farm, pretending to work in "animal husbandry" in Cluny's Alfa Romeo, 'Abe,' while both of us worked in skyscrapers in Sydney’s bustling financial district.

At the end of 2021, Julian moved into Rose Bay with Cluny, and in early 2022, we made the big move to London together, ready to begin a new chapter of our journey.

Four years after those early days of dating, Julian proposed to Cluny in the beautiful hills of Tuscany on our four-year anniversary — a moment that was as magical as it was unforgettable.

And now, we’re excited to continue our adventure as partners in life, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you on our wedding day!
